Made Under German Occupation between 1941-1943

Markings: Left Side of Slide is marked "Fabrique Nationales D'Armes De Guerre/Herstal-Belgique" And "Browning's Patent Depose". Left Side of Slide and Frame are marked with an Eagle holding a globe with swastika (Proof Test) and an "Eagle/WaA140"Waffenamt Military Acceptance Stamp. The left trigger guard bow is marked "IR", front of the slide under the muzzle has "WaA140". Magazine has series of inspection markings as well. Grips are in good-plus condition. No chips or damages visible. The finish is original, front and back strap showing light dusting oxidation. Scattered nicks and minor scratches throughout the metal. The bore is is clean with good rifling.
